Hi,
I have a tremendous problem.
My main system has a 2 Western Digital 150GB hd's in RAID 0 configuration which I divided into 2 partitions: system and work.
A couple of weeks ago one of the hd's just started reporting some errors. I contacted WD in order to know wether they could change the hd electronics or some similar solution so I could recover all the data from the 'work' partition, but unfortunately they declined that type of warranty claim and the only thing I can do is to send the hd back to them and they just send me ANOTHER one back to me - I don't want ANOTHER one I want THE SAME hd.
My question is: is it possible to make an ISO image of just one the RAID 0 hd's?
If so, I'd just temporarily swap the electronics from one to the other, make the ISO, put it back again and finaly make an ISO of the good one. Then with the new one they want to send me I'd restore the ISO image, just to have back the 'work' partition time enough to recover it.
Thanks in advance.
