Hi,

I'm new to the forum but I have a question regarding recovering an AI file. I had my files on an external which failed and as a result, many of my files were corrupted. I used Recuva and reacquired the file which has a size comparable to what it should be. I tried using Recovery Illustrator software, placing the file, opening with pdf/eps/InDesign/etc....nothing is working. I'm using CS5. Below are the two files that I have been working on if it helps. If either one works, especially the Presentation edit 13 one, I would be grateful beyond words. I have a presentation due Monday and am starting from scratch to reproduce it.

Again, I recovered these using Recuva which said they were in "poor condition." I did get a rhino file with the 3d model to open using a Rescue3dmmodel command, so I know that these can probably be opened, with some information missing.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks so much in advance.

Presentation_11_9_edit13.ai - this isn't an Ai file by the look of it.

largeperspective.ai - this one isn't recoverable from what I have tried, but is an Ai file.
