Recovering a rootvg

Hi,

I have got mksysb and backup of rootvg. I did recover from mksysb. But the machine stops at 554. So I am trying to recover the rootvg. Can anyone help me.

When I do bosboot then it gives me a error
Illegal parameter or structure value.
