recovering a password protected document

Hi,
I have been a bit stupid and password protected 5 of my acrobat files for a project but I cant remember what I set the password too :-(

Will I have to recreate this documents or is there a way to remove password protection without knowing the password? I doubt there is cos it wouldnt be a good password protection but I thought I would ask before I embark on creating them again...
