Happy Friday,

I'm working on a SX 200 ICP CX Controller, 4.0.2.10

After some quality time with 2nd level and Mitel, I'm left with a failing hard drive, and iPVM is not running. iPVM_Start will not start iPVM through secure telnet.

I have initialized (startFtpd) the FTPd service on the ICP, and now have a complete copy of the /vmail//D and /vmail//C folders, including all sub folders, on my computer.

An example of a file found in the /vmail//d/vm/grp/XXX folder is "V479a0518.031" I'm told the file name is generated sequentially. This message will be refered to as message Z.

A solution that was suggested to me would be to start from scratch on a new system, create a mail box X and leave a message Y in box X. If I were to find out the file name of message Y (ex V00000001.001), rename message Z to the the name of message Y (V00000000.001), and then upload message Y to the system, could this possibly work?

I will be testing this macgyver method come monday, but if anyone has any thoughts on the matter, please share them.

Thanks,
-b
