Hi,
I am using sql server 6.5 and Windows NT 4.0. One day, my Windows NT 4.0 server became corrupted due to some problems. I tried to recover but I couldn’t then I did a fresh installation without formatting the hard disk (the data is intact). When I tried to start sqlserver the service couldn’t start. I did the following:
I copied “Data” folder from mssql folder to other place and uninstalled sqlserver and made a new installation. After that, I replaced the new “Data” folder in mssql with the previous “Data” folder. Unfortunately, the Sql server couldn’t start. So, is there any means to recover my data? I don’t have a backup.
Thank you.
