(Networker for NT 4.0, backup server)

I have a tape which contain files not browsable
in the networker client. When I have changed browse time
browsing windows was empty.
Browsing only 1 month old files are possible.
One week ago I have removed oldest cycle from index.

On the other hand volume save set contain appropriate set.(in the networker administrator volume save sets window)

What does it mean "cp" (in the "flags" field)?

How can I restore one directory or file from this set without restoring entire save set?

Does entire save set restoring overwrite all files on target disk?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hey,

You can restore specific files or directories using a save set recover in a couple of different ways.. Using the recover option from NetWorker user, select the appropriate save set, and click on the "files" button. You can specify what should be restored there.. You can also redirect where the data is restored, and whether files are using the "recover options" button.

All of this can also be done using the command line. All the help you need is located in the documentation supplied at Legato's web site, and on the documentation supplied with the cd.

Good Luck!
