I know the answer has always been you could not recover messages after the user deletes them and hangs up. However, on MM 5.2.1 there is a check box in the subscriber options under the telephone access tab that says delete messages on exit. The help screen says that if this is uncheckd then messages are moved to the deleted items folder.

That is all I can find on it. There is no description of how to recover the messages. Has anyone else seen this and figured it out?

You would need to be using web client or subscriber options if you are using the MSS message store. Then you would see them and be able to move it back to the inbox or any other folder.

I do not remember 100% but i do not think you can access them from the TUI until you move them back but it does work.

If you set it like that the problem is that the messages never get removed unless you go to the deleted folder using one of the above mentioned programs and empty it out. otherwise the box will get full with deleted messages.

Thanks Ken,

I have been testing with my account and looking at the subscriber options but do not see anything that looks like deleted messages.

did you look at the avaya folder in the outlook client ? that is where the folders are if you install subscriber options
