Hello,

After a pc crash I einstalled my os on a different drive. Can I recover my inbox and folders (non-pst) via a file in the previous folder of the corrupt os: documents and folders\application data? I have some important mails I really need!!

Thx

Stoffel

As far as I know, all the data in Outlook, regardless of being mail/contact or schedule items are all stored on one PST file. I am not sure what you mean by "(non-pst)" in your question.

Assuming your items ARE stored on a PST, simply connect your old drive to your computer with the new OS as a Slave or Secondary drive and do a search on the old drive for *.PST. Import the PST file in Outlook using: import from a Personal Folder File to retrieve all your items.
