Recover lost emails due to Reinstall OS

I have recently reinstalled my OS (WinXP Pro) only to find that I did not backup my email and therefore lost it all. I was able to recover my lost doucments and folders, but what I don't know is in which folders I can locate the Outlook Express emails/contacts that I had and how to integrate them back into the fresh new Outlook express that was reinstalled. Any ideas?

What program did you use to recover your documents and folders?

Did it recreate all the folder paths the same?

First you need to open 'My Computer' > click tools > click view > then choose bullet that says show hidden files and folders > click ok

Then browse to c:/documents and settings/%username%/ application data/identities/

Follow that path to the end and you will see all your outlook express files.
