I've never done this before. Any advice from those of you that have?

I don't know of a way to recover it, but you can connect to the serial port and reset the password to default.

Access to the DTE port requires a serial cable between your PC/Laptop and the IP Office (such as a standard modem cable).
DTE PORT on IP500v1, IP500v2, SOE, 406v2 & 412 units: 9 pin.

Then type the following commands into the terminal (when the IPOffice is running normaly. Do no pres ESC during startup!);
type: at
respond IPO: OK
type: at-securityresetall
respond IPO: Enter "00E007068613" to continue This will be mac address of IPO
type: 00E007068613 (mac address displayed in IPO response
respond IPO: OK
Then reboot the IP Office
Now you should be able to login using default passwords

This happened to me and I had to use the Serial Cable and rest like mkoker advises. Good Luck

works better with AT-SECURITYRESETALL (case sensitive, must be capitals)
