We lost the drive with our priv and pub edb files. I replaced the drive, restored the information store with backup exec. I can not get the IS service to load. SA, DS and MTS come up OK. I ran isinteg -patch but no luck.
When you say you restored the info store, did you restore the exchange directory as well?
Sorry if that's an obvious thing to suggest, but I once forgot to do it, and it took me hours to figure out! I use Arcserve, which backs up the directories in a different session.
No I did not. I'm sure life would have been easier had I restored both services.
I recovered the exchange edb files. I found a reg key for restore in process which seems to have held up the recovery. I deleted the key and ran isinteg -patch and all services are up and running.
