Recover deleted NTFS partition? 1

Is there any software around to recover a deleted NTFS partition? I inherited a computer and while doing a fresh reinstall, I think that there was a single hard drive partitioned into two drive while there was actually two physical drives after I had opened up the system. The hard drive has not been touched since I deleted the partition.

Just curious but, if you inherited it then why bother?

A good easy method to solve this problem is to slave the drive onto another system and run Norton Disk doctor from Symantec which is part of the Norton Systemworks 2003 suite this will sort the problem in no time at all!!
