Hello,

I would like to create a BCM450 Rls6 HDD.
For that I have read the Image Tool User Guide but I cannot figure out how to do it.
I have installed Acronis True Image Home 2011 on my PC (Win 7 32 bits), I have downloaded the BCM450 HDD image from Avaya support website (6 .tib files), installed the free HDD formated in FAT format into a SATA external enclosure.

I have tried every options possible but it is still not working.
Is anyone already managed to do it?

Thank you

Plenty of times.

You don't need to format it; the recovery will do it. Add the first tib file, then make sure you select disk mode, and I tend to tick recover disk signature. Once complete, go to help->view log and ensure the restore worked. If it did, I found on a 450r1 you can replace the HDD with a 450r1, 450r5 or 450r6. Officially you have to replace with the same version (KRS will maintain the version it thinks you have so you cannot change the HDD for a later version of BCM). I tend to find a 50r6 MUST be replaced by a 50R6, otherwise it won't even boot.

It could be a corruption in the download. I ran into problems with 50r3, and went through a lot of pain; others said no problems. Eventually Avaya reissued them and worked a treat.
