Recover a deleted folder. 1

A user deleted an entire folder with shift-delete. The intention was that a single mail in the right panel would be deleted. The user did not see that the cursor was in the left panel so the entire folder was deleted.

I thought I had a good backup, but I proved wrong.

Now I know that exchange will not delete the mail but keeps it for several days in the dumpster.

Now, can I access this dumpster? And by doing so, can I recover the folder?

I found this solution.

Since the folder was deleted I needed to log on on the OWA as the user. After that select the folder in the users mailbox like this:

http://servername/username/foldername/?cmd=showdeleted&btnclose=1

When there is any blank in the foldername or username just type it, Iexplore will fill in the blanks.
