RecordSetDTC not working

Hi

I’m a newbie at web development and at using visual Interdev.(VFP programmer) Trying to go through the VI tutorial from Microsoft. When I try to drop the Employees data command onto the template.asp page, it doesn’t form a RecordSetDTC the properties window just calles it an OBJECT. If I which from design to source view, I get ‘An OBJECT failed to load error’?

Using:
Win 2000
VI 6 SP5
IE6

Need some help, Please!

Sounds like the DTC dll's are not correctly installed. Have you installed the Interdev Server Controls (they handle the data-environment facility on the server)? Although I do not think this is the problem here.

Was VI installed by an administrator? Perhaps you do not have access rights to some of the registry keys with your login.
