Recordset find in paging Recordsets

Hi

I have and asp page that is used to page thtough my database no problems with that.

What I would like to do is have a text field used as a search on a surname so you type "bloggs" it finds Bloggs in the recordset and then you can still use Previous and next buttons.

What i think i need to do is find the position of the recoredset where it finds Bloggs then i can use this for the paging


Any Ideas
