recordset fails in Local Mode after adding SourceSafe

What a "learning experience" pain in the butt!

Using Visual Interdev and SourceSafe, working in "Local Mode" when I check out a page the recordset doesn't seem to connect. My question is this, when working in Local Mode if I were to modify the Connection in global.asa will I be modifying the local or the master gloal.asa file?

I don't want to change the Master copy because I still have many pages that work.
