Records lost between query and report.

PROBLEM: My report does not contain the same number of records as it's underlying select query.

BACKGROUND: I have created a form that filters it's records according to your selection in a combo box. Of course this form is fed by a parameterized query. The query and form both contain the same number of records, however when I open the report, which is also based on the query, it has a fewer number of records. In other words records are getting lost on their way to the report. There are no patterns, nor can I find any similarities between the records that are being left out. Hopefully someone can help.

Check the Open event of the form. Are you sure the report does not change its recordsource? Or maybe applies some filter...
You should also check if the Format for any section is cancelled somehow.

Hope this helps

Dan
