Hi,

An somebody tell me how do i change an existing message on a VSU? CAn i record it using any extension? Whats the procedure to do that?

Thanks in advance

How to listen to and record VSU messages: - only from a digital phone (dialog).

Listen to messages:
1*MSG#, where MSG is the number of the message that you want to listen to.

Record a message:
2*MSG#, where MSG is the number of the message that you want to record.

Dial from a system phone to the recording unit.
Wait for the “VSU ready” message, before you listen and/or record.

Thanks for the info doktor...I have another clarification
By internal number do you mean this?

RADNP :VSID=3&&7;
RECORDED ANNOUNCEMENT DIRECTORY NUMBER INFORMATION

VSID DIR CAT
3 40147 1
4 40049 1
5 40306 21
7 40050

OK.
I see you have multiple VSU's.
Each one has an extesnion number.
Extension 40147, 40049, 40306 and 40050 are 4 x VSU.
You need to find out what VSU board contains your message.

If you know the message number, but NOT the VSU number, then dial-in to all 4 numbers and do:
Listen to messages:
1*MSG#, where MSG is the number of the message that you want to listen to.

If the message is heard, then you're on the right VSU.
