Recording Telephone Conversasions

Hi

Is it at all possible to do this in VB ??
If so - what do I need ?
Is there a tutorial somewhere on the internet for this ?

I want a VB - program to run in the background , & if the telephone starts rinning , it must start recoring & after the conversasion is ended prompt me if I wanna save the file

It is possible.

Saw a similar program in C, using a Soundblaster Card, about 5/6 years ago.

Try searching Soundblaster sites.

FYI

Check this site out, most states require one party knowledge of a phone being recorded. This prevents you wiretapping your neighbor. But if you are one of the states on that page, only you have to know that the phone is being recorded.

I did a search on "Audio" and on page 3 and there were some bits. Did not look any further, might be of help. Maybe a search through Google might open more avenues.

That's incorrect. In the U.K. as long as one of the parties knows that the call is being recorded then it's legal.

If two people know, ie told beforehand, then yes it's okay. But uninformed recording must have regular audible tone for the other person to hear.
