Recording sound in flash8

Hi

Doing a project a that moment that requires the end user to record sound using their microphone. I know its possible and have looked around for tutorials on this and seems you need flash communication server. Does anyone know if flash 8 supports this function without the communication server?


Any help on this would be great:)
