recording prompts/greetings thru a phone in unity

Hello All.... I need help recording some prompts... the vendor set up a call handler called prompt creator.... and when I go to record.. I select phones as the source of playback and record using my extension... the light for record goes red but my phone doesnt ring......
any one familiar with this ?

What happens if you dial-in to this "prompt creator" call handler? That's how we do ours..... call the "Greetings Administrator" call handler DN, then log into it with your own UserID and PIN & go from there. Look for it under System Call Handlers - it's probably what your VAR named "prompt creator".
