Recording nortel meridian ITG trunks....

Forgive me if I sound like a idiot......and please tell if if I am..

We are about to have call recording installed. We are going to be recording one of our ITG tie trunks. In our SOW Nice have asked us to install a amphenol cable between our frame and the Nice "nortel extension emulation Line card" How does this work?

Does the ITG card present the trunk members to the frame? I thought that the only exisited logically in teh switch and not physically?
