Recording movies

Hello,
I am not sure whether this can be answered here or not but someone could be able to help.
I was wondering how i could store a movie clip(something from my movie camera) on to my hard disk.I want to be able to use it in my flash animations later.Please try and help out.

You would need a capture card, or, nowadays, usb or a firewire contraption. Then you would face another problem... As of now, you can't really import movies into Flash itself. There are some workarounds... But hard work ahead of you!
