Can anyone help me with the steps to take to have existing messages on a MIRAN card replaced by other messages and put these messages onto the CS1K through the 2050 Softphones?

Thanks in advance

You have the miran id & pwd to interface via a phoneset?

and that is assuming that someone has already set up a DID trunk on port 7.

you record thru the tui interface OR import files through the serial interface... you can record and assign via tui but i usually have the recording done then assign them via the serial..

You will need to configure a TUI (DID Route)on your switch to relate to channel/port '7' on the MIRAN

LD 16
REQ NEW
TYPE RDB
CUST x
ROUTE x
TKTP DID
ICOG IAO
ACOD XXXX
CNTL YES
RETURN ALL THROUGH OTHERS

LD 14
REQ NEW
TYPE DID
TN (Position of MIRAN Unit '7'
XTRK EXUT
CUST x
RTMB Route Number and Member xxx yyy
CONN 4 Minimum
SIGL LDR
RETURN ALL THROUGH OTHERS

From a set with no matching TGAR to the Route set up dial the Access Code

Default User Name: 8737*
Default PW: 87370000*

The MIRAN will then prompt you through to record and assign via the TUI or as suggested you have the Serial connecton option choosing the recorded file number to assign to your calender/s

Hope this helps

Cheers!!
