I have a NuPoint off a 3300 MCD.

I am having a brain fart...customer is wanting to add holiday recordings to their call flow mailbox. I know under the schedule I have weekday and holiday and I can build the holiday schedule, but how do I record to the holiday part of the schedule?

Jim

You need to see what the call flows does out of hours for that schedule, most likely it is a message.
When you click on the message you will see it has an action id, you need to record the message using the action id.
You could also import a recording if you want.

The schedules only have on/off Day/Night

A single schedule can only switch between 2 messages.

If you want to have a holiday specific message then you need a schedule specific for holidays

Schedule 1
ON = Not a holiday flow to Day/Dight Schedule 2
Off = Proceed to holiday message, then flow to normal Night Menu

Schedule 2
On = Day Menu
Off = Night menu

Thanks kwb

Are you speaking about a schedule in the NuPoint call flow mailbox, or the schedule in the 3300?

Thanks, Jim

kwb is saying in the call director the schedule only has an on hours and an off hours.
If there is a night message already and you want to add a holiday message then you will need to create another schedule.
Below is a crappy ASCII diagram.

Code:
Call -----> Schedule 1 (Holiday) ----> Off hours -----> Holiday Message
                                |
				|
                                |----> On Hours ----> Schedule 2 (Day/Night)  ----> Off Hours ----> Night Message
                                                                             |
                                                                             |
                                                                             |----> On Hours ----> Normal Answering Position

Normally I program the first schedule as the holiday schedule, this will check if it is a public holiday etc... If it is set as a holiday it will follow the off hours destination, set this as a holiday message.
If it is not a holiday then we send the call (on hours) to another schedule for the normal day/night.
Set the second schedule (day/night) for your business hours.
