Can anyone advise as to their experiances implimenting equipment to be used for recording 6-8 telephones on mics system. Who makes it? How easy to retrofit? approximate cost?
first check your state law reguarding recording phone conversations. With that said algo makes a interface to a pc that records all calls to a file on the users pc...newer vmails have a record call option and cintech acd has a record call option. The algo i supposed to be real easy to set up.

Thanx Pat
NY laws are ok with this as long as one party is aware. These phones will also have to be recorded on a continual basis (not a user option). The application is a health care facility and they are mandated by law to record these calls.
Since they are looking into adding an acd do you know if the cintech acd has the programmability of automatically recording certain agents ext. all the time? if so this might be the best way to go.
Thanx again for the timely response
Thank you I will check their web site.
I spoke to Algo and it seems that you need a seperate unit & computer for each telrphone to be recorded...quite unpracticle.
