Recording Extentions with outside unit 911

I am trying to get a recording device to work with the shoretel system

I only need to record one extention, but it needs to be done on a seperate system from the shoretel system.

I know on NEC, Lucent and Nortel, we can get a feed right form the phone, can not figure out how to get the voice out of the Shoretel phone

Tried the headset jack, no luck
