recording audio from telephone Instantaudio help

Hello everyone, I am not sure if this is the right forums or not but I dont knwo where else to go. I am trying to build a system similar to instantaudio.com but with some major improvements but I am stuck at the gate :-(.

Can anyone explain to me or poin me int he right direction as to how one can capture audio via a phone the way instant audio does it?
