Hello,
Customer has a Legend(not sure of release) w/Audix. She is having a conference call later this week and is interested in recording it.....from a Polycom phone. Is this possible?
Thanks in advance.

Personally I purchased a device for my company called Voice Path. It's made by JK Audio. It hooks into the handset jack and provides Record and Play functions. So I can record voice mail messages to CD or play pre-recorded Auto Attendant prompts from a CD.

I recall the device was a bit pricey for what it was, but at least it provides a clean play/record path. If the Polycom has an RJ11-type jack perhaps this solution could be employed.

If the call is on a polycom, that's just a single line speakerphone. Go to Radio Shack and get a telephone recording adapter, it will connect with a t-adapter to the line cord and to the microphone input of a tape recorder.

Dees communications makes a nice in line recording unit that allows you to record right to a laptop.
