Someone told me that they were at a customer site on day and while looking at the system terminal a user initiated a 911 call and it showed up on the screen. .does anyone know how this is set up. i would like to look a the history file and see who dialed 911

I have seen it printed on the tty also. We always include mtc, sch and bug on our terminals so that should do it.

You need to configure 911 as an ESDN in LD 24. Then you should get the OSN messages on any tty or history file if it has USER MTC. On release 7 up I think you need USER OSN on the tty config.
Details are in the doc Emergency Services Access Fundamentals NN43001-613.

I am confused on what to enter in these fields. the user must dial 9911 to activate, and i need the main number sent which it already does. i would also like the operator (2250 console) to be activated.
