Record to disk and broadcast simultaneoulsy???

I have an immediate need to capture video to hard disk while simultaneously broadcasting it to 1 or 2 other machines in a wireless LAN. The video input will be via FireWire/1394, or possibly just a simple USB "intenet cam".

I want to be able to capture the full resolution image to the local hard disk, while simultaneously broadcasting a lesser quality image over wireless LAN.

Does anyone know of any software that will allow this? I will not have internet access, so I can not use any of the tools like Skype or MS Messenger that require contacting a central server.
