Hi,

I have a question on the record selection formula we use in the crystal reports. Record selection filters the database records. Will it be done at the back end or in the crystal report? Will it bring only the filtered records into the crystal or will it bring all the records into the crystal then filter according to record selection criteria.
please explain.

If it's written correctly, it will be processed on the backend (which means that you only get the filtered rows, your second question is redundant).
