i know this can be done and have done it before but can't remember the correct formula combination. I need to select a range of records using the select expert "Between" function then select the same database field again using the "equals" function. i.e. {INSALES.Salesman1} in 11 to 54 and {INSALES.Salesman1} = 79,81,83. I've tried different bracket compinations without success. Thanks.

Try this:

{INSALES.Salesman1} in [11 to 54,79,81,83]

Thanks. I had a report that did this but have since deleted and could not remember the combination. Thanks for the reminder.
