I have spent too much time trying to figure this out!
I have one list of disease conditions (asthma, angina, diabetes, etc.)
I have another list of diagnoses (Admit, Current, Chronic,etc.)
I have tried suppresions tricks and several formulas with no luck. What I need is to display the the correct disease with its assigned diagnoses.
i.e.: Admit = Angina, Current = asthma, etc...

The most successful attempt entailed placing copies of the disease field, then entering a formula in the suppression property of the field ({Disease}<>Admit) - thereby suppressing all diseases except the Admit.

Seems to work except I get multiple detail sections! What's up with that!?!

I'm sure someone has a simple answer, so please be kind and provide so I can stop dropping my head on the keyboard.[bigglasses]

Rather than a text description of your data, please post your table layout, example data and expected output.

When you say list, I assume this is a table?

There should be a field that you can join the two tables by, but it's impossible to tell from your description.

hi

do you have 2 tables or just one and what is the primary key or index fiels

Sorry All for the confusion,
Its actually one table with these two fields in question. Currently I do not have rights to write stored procedures, so I've had to link several tables to try and get the data I need.

{TypeCode}
data = Admit Dx/CC, Chronic Cnditns, and Current Dx

{ShortName}
data = angina, asthma, blood disease, blood infection, diabetes, more..
