Record not update to Restore by session on Arcserve v.9

Dear all
I had install Arcserve v.9 to my windows 2000 DC.
When the backup had finished, i open the restore and choose restore by session, it never show up the most update record in it until i restart the DB Engine!
Here is an example :
I had made a backup on last Thursady, then i restart the DB Engine, so it will show the updated session record for last Thurday, then i made another backup on friday, after the backup had finished more than 20 minus, i go in to Restore by Session again, it still show the record for Last Thursday, so again i restart the DB engine , it then shows the record for last friday!
It look like i got to restart the DB engine before i can see any update record to my last backup!
Does any one have the same situation as i do? if so, could you please tell me the solution?

I saw this recently and only had to restart the Arcserve manager, not the engines. Give that a try next time.

Go to Temp folder where you inatalled Arcserve and see if there are files there if yes then you have problem with your database it is not merging to database ,run Mergcat.exe utility to merge all CAT files from Temp folder
to your database.
also run Arcserve Maintenance Utilities from the link

Is 9.01 update is applied or not if not apply it from Support.cai.com
