Hi there,

I am writing a VBA to record all changes made to a document, and write them to Word. I already have the Word implementation, what I need to know is this:

How can I record all changes made to a document since it was opened? My only thought was to have the VBA record Macro data and store it as a String. If you know how to do that, or have any better ideas, please let me know. Thanks!

Why not use the track changes function in word?

Hi,

Why not use the correct forum?

VBA for Applications (Microsoft).

Just to save duplication of course.

Oops, sorry about that. As you can see, I'm a first-time poster here. I reposted in the forum mentioned above. Thanks for your help. If any of you have further ideas, the new thread is here: thread707-430601
