Record Locking Access 97/NT4

We have migrated from Novell Netware 3.12 to NT 4.0. Access databases are held on the server and accessed by upto 15 users at a time. Since moving to NT, the databases corrupt almost daily whereas they were fine under Novell. We receive netwek/disk error messages which appear to be related to record locking.

Is there something I need to do under NT that I did not under Novell concerning record locking?

Tools, Options, Advanced Tab. Experiment with the record level locking options.
