When creating a Record Level Audit, is there any field you can include that will identify which field has been changed without using field level audit?

The record that I have created the audit for has 44 fields and the client wants most fields audited. I have included the AUDIT_OPRID, AUDIT_STAMP, AUDIT_ACTN, but it is not easy to identify what specific field has been changed without fairly in depth investigation. This is partially because there are thousands of rows of existing data which is pre-audit record.

I thought about comparing current row data with the audit row but since the purpose is basically to audit correction mode changes and therefore no effdt solution.....I am a bit lost.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx!
