Record is already locked by this session

I'm working with some code at the moment that runs against Paradox tables making use of standard TTable components along with TQuery components with the RequestLive property set to True.
On occasions we get the error "Record is already locked by this session.". I'm usually able to free this up following some reorgansing of code but I'm curious to know the cause of it. Can anyone enlighten me ?

Try desactive a table in design time and active in event Form.onShow.

It's work fine for me.

That is being done. The problem lies in the sense that having accessed the record once and worked with it, when we return to it we get the message as indicated above.

You FLUSH and closed the table on exit? (use onClose)
Test that...
