Record from Tivo thru Geforce FX to DVD burner possible?

Have new ABS Computer.
-Have Tivo
-Have Albatron Geforce FX5200e video card
-P4 Intel processotr 3Ghz

Question? Is it posible to receord from Tivo into the computer to record programs to the DVD player. Or is that way too inconvient or unrealistic and better to just buy a DVD player/recorder and hook that to Tivo. Thnx
