I've used Record filter on one of the feild. I can see the result in Preview tab. However, when I run the report from application, I'm unable to get the output. I end up following error message.

Failed to retrieve data from database.
Details: (Dataabse Vendor code 208)

Appreciate any response.

Thanks,

You would have to find out the code from the vendor for that database (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)

Not sure what you mean, I just went in tool bar / database - show SQL query: Copy and paste
then I ran the same query in SQL it works fine.

Then it may be an application issue. The error code is for the database itself, it does not come from Crystal. What is the database type (MS-SQL, Oracle, etc.)?

Is your application pointing at a different database.

Does the SQL run against the new database.

Does your application have the correct user/password logins to database.
