Hi All,

I've tried to setup record a call using the inbuilt 3300 voicemail, although hit a few stumbling points:

1. As soon as I enable 'COV/ONS/E&M Voice Mail Port' on the trunk COS outgoing calls starting ringing before you have finished dialling the number

2. Our mail server only allows unauthenticated mail to be sent over port 26, although I can't see anywhere to edit this on the 3300.

We do have nupoint, will that be any easier to configure?

Any ideas chaps?

You dont put cov on the trunks
to use record a call , create a seperate hunt group - type recorder
- add the voicemail ports into it
this is used by the system to conference in a voicemail port and make the recording.

Cool, got that working. Any ideas how edit the port which to 3300 uses for the mail server?

Cheers

Mail server info (SMTP) is in the System options form

The only options I have are:

Email Server: smtp.***.co.uk
Sender's E-mail Address: ***@***.co.uk

I need to change the port from I assume 25 which is the standard, to a custom port 26. Is this possible?

Cheers

Unfortunately the 3300 email settings are basic so you have limited options. Sorry no port 26.
As for Nupoint this may have more configurable options, it usually does!
