Record A Call Button On All The Time

Setting up another R6, 308EC and R7 Messaging Module with a 2 Port card...

Configured call recording button on phones...but the light is red on all phones all the time?

Any ideas?

well crap...nevermind...this is what i get for not reading the instructions.

seems as though record a call requires 4 ports or more!

Yup. If it's a busy office and they are using autoattendant, they need four ports anyway. To check, just program the extension numbers of the two ports on a phone and watch them during busy times. If they are both lit for a while, you need more ports. I set delay ring on a few phones. If they start to ring on inbound calls instead of the attendant getting them, they need more ports.
