I am new to Sendmail, so please be patient. We have a Tru64 Unix server with sendmail running on it. It sends emails to our customers. It only sends, and doesn't receive. All mail is automated, there are no "users" logging in to send the mail. Some of our customers are now using reverse dns, and our old server is "hidden" and doesn't resolve. It needs to stay that way.
I have a new email server built that does resolve for reverse dns, and want to have it accept the mail for relay from the old server. The new server is configured to allow this. Where do I look, what file, cf, to modify to get my old sendmail server to act like a client using my new server to send its' mail? Is this even possible? Anyone have a better idea?
Thanks.

On My HP and Sun boxes it is /etc/mail/sendmail.cf and the line starts with DS and probably has nothing else there. And just for future ref, I believe what you are doing is using the public mail server as a relay point for the private one.
