reconfig access to disk when moving from direct to san attached fastt?

Hi,
Today I have two AIX 5.2 servers directly attached to a fastt600.
I'm going to add a new aix server, and install 2 switches to access the storage (SAN attachement).
I don't know how to do to reconfigure the disks for the currently used server?
Should I exportvg, then rmdev hdisks, then importvg ???
Or is there another way?
