recompile for dbase

Newbie question:

How do I recompile PHP 4.0.1 with the enable-dbase switch.

I have asked the webhosting co. to do this but they are slow in doing it so I'll do it myself.

Where do I put the enable-dbase switch, and what do I run to recompile?
