recommended tutorials or books for visual c++

Hello all,
I'm working on earning a degree in programming and the language I'm am learning so far is visual basic. I'm interested in learning visual c++ and just wanted to know if any of you experience programmers could tell me some good tutorial sites or recommend some books that will be helpful for me to learn c++.
