Hello,

I guess this is directed towards people who have passed or taken this exam, but anyone else can chime in...

I am studying for the ONT exam. I have read the Cisco Press book and viewed CBT nugget videos. I still feel like I need more to review. Can anyone recommend other training videos/materials? I have a good handle on the QoS/Voice theory and configurations...but I need more time with wireless and QoS SDM topics.

I cannot afford to by a WLC and wireless gear to study with, but I can shell out a couple hundred bucks for some more training material. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have searched Cisco's site for stuff and have downloaded the WCS and WLC guides for review. Any other links for configuring security on clients and APs (Screenshots!), etc would be REALLY appreciated.

Thanks

Routers and switches on Ebay...
Also, how2pass.com---good site, but only as supplemental info, meaning that you should pretty much have a good handle on all concepts. How2Pass.com will prepare you for how Cisco asks questions (NOT what questions are on the test like TestKing!!!).

ONT wasn't too bad. If you can get a hold of the student guide that's the best thing.

The wireless stuff you really don't need to know all the in's and out's on how to do stuff. To me was a real intro into the WCS.

If you've got a good handle on all the QoS material, you are already almost there. Give the WCS guide a review, and know what it can do more than how to do it.

Out of all the tests, I thought ONT was the easiest. But I had also been working with the wireless components and QoS a lot in the last 6-9 months at work prior to taking the exam.

Good luck

Thanks guys.

I do have a few of routers :) They helped me through BSCI. I checked out how2pass and the price is very reasonable so thanks for that suggestion.

Lerdalt, that's what I was hoping to hear...I am going to review the workings of WCS, WLC, etc and probably take it next month.

thanks again,
-B
